Copper sulfate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula CuSO4, and anhydrous copper sulfate is a white or grayish white powder.
Copper sulfate is not only a fertilizer, but also a widely used fungicide. Bordeaux solution, copper soap solution and copper ammonium preparation are prepared from copper sulfate, quicklime, soap and ammonium bicarbonate.

Appearance and properties: anhydrous copper sulfate is gray white powder, which is easy to absorb water and turn blue-green.
Melting point: 560 ºC.
Density: 3.606 g / cm3 (25 º C)

Solubility: soluble in water and methanol. Insoluble in ethanol.
Purpose:
1. It is mainly used as textile mordant, agricultural pesticide, water bactericide and preservative, as well as tanning, copper electroplating, mineral processing, etc.
2. It is used as astringent and disease prevention medicine. It is also an agricultural bactericide.
3. Uses: used as analytical reagent, mordant and preservative.
4. Usage this product is the main salt of pyrophosphate copper plating. Simple composition, good stability, high current efficiency and fast deposition speed. However, its polarization force is small and its dispersion ability is poor. The coating is coarse and not bright.
5. Uses in the chemical industry, it is used to manufacture other copper salts, such as cuprous cyanide, cuprous chloride, cuprous oxide and so on. The dye industry is used to produce copper containing monoazo dyes, such as reactive brilliant blue, reactive violet, phthalocyanine blue and other copper complexing agents. It is also a catalyst for organic synthesis, perfume and dye intermediates.
